People, Attire, Personalities

"Squeezing the last bit of perfume from the bottle feels like hearing the trailing last words of a dear loved one on their death bed. These are the final pages of a book and the memories will only die when I do. Today, I witnessed these last moments that started seven years ago in Chicago. I kept telling myself 'I’ll save this for when I go back there one day'; that it belongs to that city alone. But I didn't wait.
Now it is gone; an empty glass bottle with contents that have evaporated into space and time."
